John Temmel The Siding Guy - Porches and Decks

This deck repair photo is the first in a series of four. This home had the deck installed by another contractor some time ago. The deck's roof was not properly secured to the back of this home creating an extremely dangerous and unsightly problem for the homeowner. "Thanks for a job well done
We contracted with John to replace our siding, windows, shutters and front door. John was a great help guiding us through product selection and meeting our requests –lap spacing of the siding, window grills, paint colors, shutter style and hardware. During the siding installation we found out that our 12’x35’ porch roof needed to be replaced, and in a hurry. John was able to respond without any hesitation and could do the work for a fair price (despite the urgency). He and his crew were very competent and capable: know-how plus all of the skills to do the job right: framing, finish carpentry, electrical, roofing, gutters and painting. Throughout the 5-week job (it takes time to rebuild such a large roof structure and do it right) John was onsite one, or more, times a day. When the job was done, the new look of the house was everything we had envisioned. The siding and shutters look great – super curb appeal. All of our neighbors have given lots of great compliments.
John was great to work with – period. He was open to those little last minute changes and he made sure that the job was done to our satisfaction. In an industry that is renowned for poor customer service, John is at the opposite end of the spectrum. So, would we contract with John for other work? Absolutely. Do we endorse him and his work? Yes."
